RARINGIS AND INTERNET

Cool, fresh air, that's Raringis.
Raringis village located in the western part, western langowan
subdistrict, Minahasa district of North Sulawesi Province in Indonesia
country,
is a village in the category of minimum income rural communities in
income per year if compared with other villages.

A village with a population of about two thousand heads of households,
the majority of the farmers who have such a vast land under the feet
of the volcano of Mount Soputan,
unable to compete with other villages, mostly laborers, employees and others.

Tomatoes, onions, potatoes, vegetables and grains as well as other
types of plants are the most suitable and favorite of the locals to
grow crops.
But most of regret, partly the result of the processing plant was only
marketed to the local markets,
so the price is very cheap even if in appeal compared with the cost of
managing sometimes the farmers into bankruptcy.
And that's what makes this the villagers find it difficult to get a good income.

Yet this vast land, fertile soil, suitable variety of plants, capital
and the determination and intent that are owned and rooted in the
hearts of the farming population is remarkable.

A good prospect if there are businessmen who wished to support these
farmers live more feasible.
If only there was someone like that who wants to help us to sell our
crops to other areas or in the export to foreign countries.
Sentences were often spoken in their mouths as a sign of grumbling.

If we speak the word Internet in the village Raringis, now it is not foreign.
Many people are familiar with the internet said this even though only
limited to listening only.
If in comparing the introduction of the Internet world in this village
two years ago in the year 2008 with current year ie in 2010, the
increment is very unusual.
Especially with the increase in derastis social networking site
facebook in the world of the Internet turns out to influence and make
the public is interested and wants to use it even if they do not know
how to even talk to their use of e-mails they do not know what it is
and its function.

Internet users in this village with other villages were even most of
them are young men and women.
Even the teenagers did not want to be left to use it.

The increase in Internet users in general may be caused by: the
cheaper the cost of access let alone one of the social networking site
Facebook which has freed the cost of access to these sites via mobile
and can be accessed through mobile operators who have been working

together in this facility.
Another thing that affects the interaction and a sense of pride.
Generally, Internet users in these villages using mobile devices or
mobile phones.

Increasingly cheap mobile phones that can access the internet even
more influence.

What are they doing this in using the Internet?
Their activities were not many because they are new to internet life
in cyberspace.

The sites they visit is not another on facebook, google, yahoo, and
other sites that can be accessed by either through the phone.

The things they do is none other than share and chating fellow
friends, family or find their old friends.
Read news, play games and more.

What is the response of society with the internet knows this?
As a good community, conscious and want the area forward of course
respond to this it was natural.

Hoping to support the development of this area.

Maybe this is all I can write,
what I see every day and what I know.
My hope, hopefully internet presence in this village can be best utilized.
Both in agriculture hoping to be one and other marketing tools.
Hoping to support the educational info, economy, business, social,
cultural, and others.
